We like to make things out of wood from time to time. We like the smell of wood. We like to discuss different species of wood with our friends...some of whom even listen. When a beautiful object is made from a beautiful piece of wood and finished in a careful way, there's almost nothing like it. There are some very exciting things happening with wood finishes these days. I came across a new soy based finish the other day in a wood magazine, and it made me happy.<br /><br />So with all that setup, I guess we really should be announcing some kind of new wood product in our store, right? We agree. Coming very soon are some very cool wooden toys. It's probably also the scariest. We've taken a bit of a low profile lately, but we've done some upgrading and we're sticking our head out there again...<br /><br />It's interesting watching the rest of the online retail world through all of this. I have to say, I've never in my life seen so many sales at one time...constantly in progress.
